Details, details

The attention to detail in Cobham's restoration
of the original front on RML3 is impressive. Note the use of
the upside-down W for the M in the bonnet number, which was used
originally.

specially-produced blinds as it leans to turn at Hackbridge
Corner.

RT190 again, this time a close-up of the 'Buses
for Trolleybuses' poster for 4 March 1959, when the 154 and 157
replaced the 654.

The arrangement of the upper deck of the RLH is
shown in this shot of RLH48. A foot was saved from the height
of the bus, without lowering the floor downstairs, by setting the
gangway at the side and dropping it below floor level. This
meant a limited headroom for downstairs passengers on the right
hand side. It also meant a rather cosy four-across
arrangement for upper deck seating.

Attention to detail - RT190 carried an offside
route plate and the canopy pillar route number for the 157
that it was working.

Finally, here is the fare chart and route
change notice displayed inside RT190.
